Taco Bout Love Fiesta Bridal Shower Venue

First off, where do you host such a fun and festive bridal shower? When it comes to the venue for your taco bout love bridal shower, think outside the box. A traditional banquet hall may not capture the lively and colorful spirit of Mexico. Instead, consider hosting the party at a Mexican restaurant with an outdoor patio or a private event space decorated with papel picado and bright, bold colors. Or, if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, a friend or family member’s home with a beautiful outdoor patio or garden space would also be ideal. These types of venue spaces will set the perfect tone for your taco-themed bridal shower.

Taco Bout Love Fiesta-Themed Menu Ideas
I think it’s safe to say a build-your-own taco bar is a must for this one… It’s called “TACO Bout Love!” …. Hello?! OK, but in all seriousness, there are many more Fiesta-themed dishes and drinks you can serve that will tie into your theme effortlessly.

In addition to your taco (or nacho bar), a margarita bar is always a crowd pleaser. Provide different mixes and garnishes for your guests to make their margarita their own. Some more ideas to incorporate into your Mexican-themed menu are:
- Elotes (Mexican Street Corn) – Honestly, this is the best way to serve corn, hands down. This classic Mexican street food is essentially corn on the cob charred on the grill and then slathered in spicy and creamy chili, garlic, and Cotija cheese. Trust me, it will be a fan favorite. For less mess, consider cutting the cobs in half and serving on a stick.
- Churros – A churro is a cinnamon- and sugar-topped fried pastry dough stick with Spanish and Portuguese origins. Churros are similar to doughnuts, but they have ridges because they are piped out of a pastry bag. Because they are fried instead of baked, churros have a fluffy and tender interior with a satisfyingly crispy exterior.
- Sangria – Sangria is an alcoholic beverage originating in Spain and Portugal. Sangria traditionally consists of red wine and chopped fruit, often with other ingredients or spirits, but you can also make it with white. My mom made the best white wine peach sangria for my bridal shower and that is dangerous! So tasty and unexpectedly strong.
Fiesta-Themed Bridal Shower Games & Activities
There are so many fun and entertaining bridal shower game and activity ideas to complement your Taco Bout Love fiesta theme. Here are just a few, including exclusive game templates you can access for FREE by subscribing to the Savvy Swaréy blog newsletter.
Margarita Tasting
Set up a margarita tasting station with different flavors and variations of this classic Mexican cocktail. Have the guests vote on their favorite and declare a winner at the end of the party.

Nacho Groom Game
This is an alternate take on the “Who’s Got the Groom?! Game” where every guest receives an envelope containing either a picture of the groom or a random celebrity. You can find several versions of this game to print at home on Etsy. Only one guest really has the groom, everyone else? … Nope, nacho groom.

Classic Pinata (with a Twist!)
Who says pinatas are just for kids’ birthdays? There are so many ways you can make this fun for adults too. One no-brainer is to simply adult-up your pinata a little by adding some mini tequila bottles.
Another option is to have guests write marriage advice on a piece of paper and drop it into an empty pinata. The bride-to-be then has to smash the pinata and read off one at random. Whoever she picks is the winner!

Pin the Mustache on the [Soon-to-Be] Married-achi
This one is FUN. But, like the “nacho groom” game also requires getting a picture of the fiancé. Simply add your groom’s photo to this template, purchase a set of mustaches, and take turns having guests try their hand at pinning their mustache as close as possible!
